Pillow Block Bearing

The Pillow block Bearings are essentially a variant of Deep Groove Ball Bearings; they are characterized by a spherical outer diameter surface on the outer ring, allowing them to fit into a corresponding concave spherical seat within the bearing housing to provide self-aligning capability. These bearings are primarily designed to accommodate combined radial and axial loads—with radial loads predominating—and are generally unsuitable for bearing axial loads in isolation.

The commonly matched stamped bearing seats include circular stamped seats (PF), diamond stamped seats (PFL), triangular stamped seats (PFT), vertical stamped seats (PP), etc.
